When exactly is the fee deducted?
Bekena is non-custodial — funds go directly to your wallet. For Smart Conversion (non-EU traffic), the 1% fee is applied during the THORChain swap before funds reach your wallet. For Direct Wallet (EU or VPN traffic), the fee is 0% and funds arrive in full.
Do EU users always pay 0%?
Yes. Visitors from the EU or using a VPN are routed through Direct Wallet mode — no swap, no fee. Your invoice receives 100% of the paid amount directly on-chain.
Do I pay for failed or expired invoices?
No. You only pay for successfully confirmed transactions. Expired invoices and failed transfers are completely free.
